What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that something can be remembered between one page and the next. Related technologies, such as local storage, do a similar job. This page covers both.
We use very few. There is no advertising network on this site, no profiling, and nothing that follows you to other websites. We do not sell information about your browsing.

Keeps a member of Sprout Pod staff signed in to our internal portal. It is only set after someone signs in, it is never set for a visitor browsing the site, and it cannot be read by any other website.

That is the only cookie we set ourselves. The pages you see as a visitor to sproutpod.ie do not set any Sprout Pod cookie.

Lead Connect chat widget
The chat bubble in the corner of the page. It keeps your conversation together if you move between pages, and its network provider checks that traffic is coming from a person rather than a bot.

The showroom booking calendar
Our booking calendar is provided by Lead Connect. It loads its own scripts, and a Meta (Facebook) measurement pixel, when the calendar appears on the showroom page.

The reviews shown on this site are fetched by our server rather than by your browser, so Google sets nothing on your device for them. Our fonts are served from this site rather than from a font provider, for the same reason.
How to control cookies
Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block them in future, usually under a settings section called Privacy, or Cookies and site data. You can also browse in a private window so that everything is cleared when you close it.
Blocking cookies from the services listed above will stop the chat widget or an embedded form from working properly, but the rest of the site, including the garden room information and the viewing map, works normally without them.
If you use our staff portal and block our own cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in, because the cookie is what holds the session.

If we add a feature that sets a new cookie we will list it here and update the date at the top. How we use personal information generally is covered in our privacy policy.
